Stump Grinding & Removal Services
Every job we take is about one thing: getting a stump (or its roots) out of your way for a fair, flat price. We don't upsell tree trimming you didn't ask for, and we don't subcontract your job to whoever answers the phone. Here's what we do, and how to pick the right service.

| Roots are heaving concrete or tearing up the lawn | Surface root removal |
| Multiple stumps, wooded lot, or new construction site | Multi-stump & lot clearing |
| Storm took the tree, stump or root plate is left behind | Storm damage cleanup |
Stump Grinding
Standard below-grade grinding for single or multiple stumps — the modern way stump removal gets done. We grind 6 inches down for lawn restoration and up to 18 inches for replanting or shallow utility work, rake the site, and leave the grindings spread as mulch over the spot.
Surface Root Removal
Selective grinding and shaving of surface roots that are damaging hardscape or lawn, done in a way that keeps healthy trees alive. We also chase and remove invasive roots from species like silver maple, willow, and poplar.
Multi-Stump & Lot Clearing
Volume stump work for builders, landscapers, and owners of larger parcels. Per-stump prices drop sharply after the first stump because mobilization is the biggest cost — a 20-stump job often costs less than half of 20 individual visits.
Storm Damage Stump Cleanup
Fast-response grinding and root-plate removal after wind and ice storms. We coordinate directly with your tree service or insurance adjuster and can usually be on site within 48 hours.
